iPhone Tips and Tricks #1 Multitasking

Multitasking is a great feature that comes with the iPhone 3GS and all the devices above it. It is very simple, though handy. Are you really tired of closing an app then access the other?

Multitasking:

Well, starting from the iPhone 3GS the problem is solved! While you are opening the app, double press the Home button and the multitasking bar will appear from down. This shows the apps which you opened before and have not closed. By scrolling left and right it shows you the other opened apps. If you want to open one of these apps, simply tap on it and it will switch to the other app leaving your app opened in the multitasking bar with everything kept like it was so that if you want to go back to this app you will find your progress the same.Multitasking Bar

Note: These opened apps decrease the battery life so you would better close it not to lose charge quickly. It is one of the things affecting on the battery and we will talk about all the things that decrease battery life and how to solve it in a post later on.

How to Close the Apps in the Multitasking Bar:

To close an app tap and hold it in the multitasking bar, it will enter jiggly mode and a minus sign will be shown on the top left of the app, tap on the minus sign to close it. DO NOT WORRY IT WILL NOT DELETE THE APP!
