Even with a converter things are not simple. But we will help you do that easily by using these few tips

  • Tip #1: Find out what type of file your device accepts.

If you have video editing software then you most probably have a converter already. An example of this is the final Cut Studio which comes with a compressor that not only compresses videos but also has a codec preset for your iPhone or iPod. Working with software like this may turn out better than getting a separate converter.

  • Tip #2: Use Handbrake if you are converting the file for your mobile device.

If you have done this before you probably know that it takes more than one program to convert your DVD into a version that can be played on your mobile device. It usually involves two different steps; to rip the DVD and to convert it into a file type that suits your mobile. With Handbrake you can do this in one step only.

  • Tip #3: Go for the Free Trial first

It is always wise to try the free trial version of many softwares before you ahead and purchase the full version. This is particularly important in purchasing a converter as there are quite a number of these in the market.

I hope you found these tips useful. Stay tuned for more iPhone tips and tricks.
