iPhone Tips & Tricks #19 How To Use iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch As A USB Drive

There was a time back ago when your mobile device could do little other than make calls and send texts. They did not include sophisticated apps or a camera and very few games. People back then had to carry around so many devices to do the job that the current iPhone does. Now developers are trying to make your iPhone an all in one device by placing in it everything you could possibly need on the road. The same goes for iPod and iPad devices too. Now, developers have turned your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a USB drive!

You can now turn your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a USB flash drive and enjoy carrying large files around. Over and above, you can do this regardless whether you have a jailbroken device or not!

Now let’s discuss why you would want to have one of these miracle apps.

Firstly, they use your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch flash memory as a USB Flash Drive. These apps can also act as a substitute to iTunes and it works just as well as iTunes or even better! You can also read and write all file on your device with no access restrictions what so ever. These apps are very user friendly and are available total free (with the exclusion of DiskAid which is charged).  However, you do have a risk of accidently overwriting or deleting files.

If you have decided that you would like to enjoy using a feature like this, then there are a couple of Apps for you to choose from.

iFunBox:
