Rockstar Games announced earlier today that Max Payne Mobile for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is going to release on April 12.
Rockstar is a popular game development studio that has created massive hits for conventional gaming platforms such as PlayStation and Xbox. Grand Theft Auto, or GTA as it is commonly known, is just one of the hit game franchises that Rockstar has developed. Grand Theft Auto for iOS has already been released, now Max Payne makes it’s way over to the world’s most favourite devices.
All games in the Max Payne franchise have been insanely popular. The game has been available for quite some time now, for PC and conventional gaming consoles. It is reportedly that this franchise alone sold 7.5 million copies around the world. Obviously, Rockstar is hoping that the numbers grow by leaps and bounds once this amazing game is released for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Rockstar says that they have heavily optimized Max Mobile for iOS devices. The game will feature controls that will be user-customizable, as well as HD graphics. Max Payne Mobile will be supported by the original iPad, iPad 2 and the New iPad, as well as iPod touch 4G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
Max Payne Mobile for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will be available for download from iTunes App Store on April 12. Rockstar has not revealed the price of this game, however given their past release record, there is a high possibility that Max Payne Mobile for iOS will be priced at $4.99
