iOS ’86 Theme Is Finally Available – Download Now

Couple of days ago, we knew about a new theme concept taking the look of a 1986 MAC computer by the designer Anton Repponen. Today an author named AR7 created the ’86 theme that will give your new iOS Device the old and classic mac interface. Thanks to jailbreaking, you can do whatever you want with your iOS device, give it the look you want and do many customizations in it. All you need to do to get that awesome theme is a jailbroken iOS device.



Unfortunately, you won’t find it in the default repos and it’s one of those repos we doesn’t recommend, but it’s the only place you can get the theme from. So you need to add http://repo.ithemes.it to your list, Cydia will warn you that the repo has been reported for redistributing copyrighted works, you have to confirm, no worries!

After installing the repo, search for “iOS 86″ and install it. Then you’ll need to activate it in Winterboard and re-spring your device.

One more thing, the theme doesn’t come with its own wallpaper so you can download this wallpaper to complete the look.

Although it doesn’t contain or support many icons and doesn’t change the look of any other elements, we have to admit it looks pretty good. Maybe the creator will add more icons and elements in the future updates.
