Apple To Develop New Ways To Detect Water Damage In iOS Devices (REPORT)

Has your iOS device indicated water damage without touching any liquid? Have you been alarmed by such a false indicator? Apple is now considering this issue. The problem with the current method is that it can be affected by heavy humidity and appears as if it has undergone water damage.

Replacing the current method, which is old technology, depends on substituting the concept of liquid indicators that change colors when exposed to heavy moisture with an embedded gadget in the device which will only be triggered when immersed in liquid. The new concept is called “Mechanisms for detecting exposure to water in an electronic device.”

his will solve two main problems for both vendors and users. First, vendors, who are incapable to verify whether the device has been damaged by water or just malfunctioned, will be able to properly judge if the device should be replaced under warranty free of charge or not. This will save them a huge amount of money. Second, the user whose device has failed due to other reasons will be sure that he his device will be fixed or even changed under warranty for free.

The new technique not only prevents false-positives, but also seems to be a peacemaker gadget that guarantees everyone his rights.
