iOS 5.1 Final Release Date Around March 9th, BGR Confirms!

A report was published yesterday by BlogDoiPhone claiming that the new firmware version iOS 5.1 will bring a new LockScreen Camera icon, a slider that you move up to quickly access your iPhone’s camera instead of having to tab the HomeScreen button twice.



 

The report also claimed iOS 5.1 bringing Japanese support for Siri which we have heard in a previous report saying that Siri will bring three extra languages next month, among which is Japanese.

Today, a report by BGR confirms yesterday’s news in which it posted leaked screenshots of the new camera lock button, that iOS 5.1 has a separate slider camera button next to the unlock button and that Siri is expected to bring Chinese as seen in the settings.

The new firmware iOS 5.1 is reported by BGR to be released around March 9th which agrees with a previous rumor.
