The new software, which is now at version 0.9.10b5c, includes a number of stability improvements and bug fixes. The Dev Team posted the update to its blog last night along with the following message…
“Updates #5b and #5c: Version b5b fixes an issue with using custom ramdisks on iPhone3G and iPod2G, and version b5c prevents redsn0w from crashing due to the ever-growing ramdisk size .
TIP: If auto-detection fails and redsn0w tells you no identifying data as wound, you can always pre-select the appropriate 5.0.1 IPSW using “Extras->Select IPSW”.”
So maybe a lot of users faced any of the mentioned above problems so that we advise you to jailbreak using Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 which fixes too many problems... Now let us began downloading.
