Yesterday we reported for you that iPad 3 launch date has been confirmed to be on March 7th which is going to be the next Wednesday and too many Apple users are very excited and can’t wait to see Apple’s next iPad 3 which said it will be a freak’n magic device, anyway we have got some rumors from the guys at DigiTimes which says that Apple is looking forward to launch a cheaper 8GB iPad 2 alongside with the iPad 3 on March 7th.
The report claims that according to some sources inside Apple heard that Apple is looking to make another great surprise for it’s users which is going to be launching a cheaper 8GB iPad 2 alongside with the iPad 3 in it’s media event which is going to be held in Cupertino:
“As Apple has scheduled an event on March 7, sources from its upstream supply chain pointed out that the company is expected to launch two iPad 3 models – a 16GB version and 32GB version.
In addition to the iPad 3, Apple is also expected to unveil an 8GB iPad 2, allowing the tablet PC series to cover different segments and to defend against Windows 8-based tablet PCs, the sources noted.”
I think it will be a great move from Apple to make the surprise doubled and I am also very sure that iPad 2 prices will decrease specially after iPad 3 release, so I thought Apple will make this 8GB with a cheap prices,
Even if the 8GB iPad 2 doesn’t materialize, we expect to see prices drop dramatically on current iPad 2 models. Yeah, next week could get pretty interesting.
