The Fifth Avenue Apple Store Sold Over 13,000 iPad In The First 12 Hours

Yes that’s right, just after Apple announced launching the new iPad we didn’t imagine that we will see a huge lines like in these few months. today both AT&T and Apple saw a huge record-breaking iPad sales  in the few weeks and I think everyone is speculating today and for those guys who still sitting in their houses according to a report from the guys at The Verge claims that the popular Fifth Avenue Apple store has just sold over 13,000 new iPad in just the first 12 hours, WOW.. yeah that’s a nice number to be recorded in Apple’s history.



Here’s The Verge Full Report:

“Here’s what we’re hearing: within the first 12 hours of the iPad’s launch — between 8AM and 8PM local time — the store sold over 13,000 new iPads, an average of about 18 per minute. Daily store revenue, which typically falls between $700,000 to $1 million this quarter, was up to $11.5 million on launch day. “

I really got amazed when I heard these cool number, do you imagine that this Apple stores is selling nearly 20 iPads a minute for 12 straight hours is quite a feat — especially for a single retail location. But perhaps even more interesting is the fact that the Fifth Avenue store had that kind of inventory on hand.

So from what we see right now that Apple users began loving the new iPad and almost all of them are not looking for just a new design and that’s of course according to some studies. So what are you waiting for ?!
