Siri can only understand English at this current moment in time. From default, you can change the accent for English that Siri understands. But what if you wanted to completely change the language for Siri’s response, you can with AnyVoice!
You can’t change the language for how Siri listens to you, but you can get a pretty cool response. As you can see from the image above, you can choose from about 30+ languages. So if you choose German and ask Siri “What time is it?”, she will reply in German. Pretty cool huh? Best part is that it doesn’t take anymore time to load the response, it’s instantaneous.
No, AnyVoice is not available right now, but the developer has already submitted it to the ModMyi repo. Once it’s out, hopefully tomorrow, it will be free so don’t sweat it. This tweak doesn’t really have any uses; It’s really just for messing around with friends. If you’re learning a new language or need to tell someone the time/date/weather in another language, this will be perfect for you then! Keep your eyes peeled for this tweak in Cydia.
