Apple Has Stopped signing iOS 5.0.1

A couple of days ago we reported for you that Apple has released iOS 5.1 for all Apple users and we followed the report with some warnings from the iPhone Dev Team warning Apple users not to updated to iOS 5.1 as they will lose their Untethered jailbreak as hackers haven’t yet found any exploit for this new firmwares but anyway they also released Redsn0w 0.9.10b6 (Tethered) and we already showed you our exclusive guide posted here… Today we have got some news from the guys at Modmyi saying that Apple has stopped signing iOS 5.0.1..

As it has been confirmed that Apple has stopped signing iOS 5.0.1 that’s mean that iPhone users who are on iOS 5.1 and wished to downgrade to a previous  version of firmwares will face a huge problems and it will be very difficult for them to downgrade, or even impossible to downgrade..

Folks with an A4 device that updated to iOS 5.1 can still downgrade back to 5.0.1 if you did the necessary prep-work. Those that have an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S, however, have no way of doing this. So again we ask all the users not to updated their A4 devices to iOS 5.0.1 or they will face some troubles..

While if you already went to iOS 5.0.1 you can jailbreak your (A4 device) using Redsn0w 0.9.10b6
