Sprint Says It will offer Unlimited Data Plan For The Next iPhone

Yes what you heard is right, as we all know Apple is going to release a new iPhone in the coming few months and we all excited to see it, today and according to a report from CNET which claims that Sprint has just confirmed it will offer unlimited data plan for Apple’s next iPhone which makes it a big deal in order to attract customers to the carrier even if the new device supports LTE.

If the next iteration of the iPhone arrives with LTE, Sprint will continue to offer a no-strings unlimited plan, CEO Dan Hesse told CNET. The company is already sticking with unlimited for its first batch of LTE phones, but it was unclear whether the offer would apply to next iPhone.

“I’m not anticipating the unlimited plan would change by that point,” said CEO Dan Hesse. “That’s our distinctive differentiator”

Tim Cook Seen At Valve's headquarters

Right now we have got some of interesting news from the folks at Appleinisder where they reported that they have spotted Apple's CEO Tim Cook at video game designer Valve's headquarters. Apple's chief executive Tim Cook reportedly visited the Bellevue, Washington headquarters of Valve Corporation earlier today, inciting questions about new potential for collaboration between the two companies.

After months of rumors that suggested Valve would begin supporting Mac users in Steam, in early 2010 the company announced it would bring a series of its own video games, including Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2, to the Mac platform for the first time. It also announced it would simultaneously release Portal 2 for the Mac and Windows that winter.

At the time, John Cook, the director of Steam development at Valve, stated that Apple had "been a great partner so far and we look forward to growing our relationship with them over time."

How To Unlock Any Jailbroken iPhone On Any Baseband Using SAM [Guide]

Finally a good which almost everyone was waiting for, you can now unlock any iPhone on any baseband using SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module). This method works for every iPhone running iOS 5.0 or above, we’re not explicitly saying that it ONLY works on mentioned iOS firmwares but we’ve tested it on devices running  iOS 5.0 and above and IT WORKS. The working is pretty simple which was first found by username Lockstar_Sun, he found a vulnerability in ICCID and iTunes BB unlock activation ticket which allowed him to trick iTunes and make it believe that you’re running official SIM card on your carrier locked device.

It should be noted here that this method works for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Before we jump on tutorial we’d like to tell you couple of things about this procedure:

• This is a SIM specific unlock which means that once you unlock using a specific SIM that iPhone would stay unlocked to that SPECIFIC SIM only. You cannot use it with any other SIM card.


• You will need a jailbroken iPhone.

So let’s begin the process on how you can do it to unlock your iPhone

STEP 1: Launch Cydia and add this repo: repo.bingner.com after adding this repor search for SAM and install it.



Even if you have SAM in your iPhone right we recommend you to re install it for the sake of this tutorial

STEP 2: Once installed, SAM will create SAMPrefs icon on your home screen, tap it



STEP 3: Go to utilities and select “De-Activate iPhone”, your ActivationState under “More Information” should now be “Unactivated”

STEP 4: Make sure that SAM is Enabled, choose “By Country and Carrier” in “Method”; find your carrier, for some carriers operating more than one Carrier ID you may need to select “SIM ID”; easy to tell since iTunes will not activate if the wrong IMSI is selected.

STEP 5: Navigate to More Information, copy or write down the IMSI in “SAM Details”, then tap “Spoof Real SIM to SAM”.

STEP 6: Go back to the main SAM screen and change your “Method” to manual. Paste or enter the IMSI number you saved in last step.

STEP 7: Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes, iTunes will now activate your iPhone, double click “Phone Number” parameter at the main device screen and make sure that the ICCID matches that of your SIM card. If not you need to start over from Step 3.



STEP 8: Unplug your phone, close iTunes.

STEP 9: Disable SAM. The source article says to uninstall SAM and delete your lockdownd folders; it’s unnecessary.

STEP 10: Connect your phone to iTunes again, you should get an error saying that your phone cannot be activated. This is a good news for you DON’T PANIC. Just close iTunes and open it again.

STEP 11: You should see signal bars in a short time, congratulations.

Push notifications may stop working after this procedure but can be easily restored with “clear push” utility in SAM followed by connecting to iTunes.

Save everything located in /var/root/Library/Lockdown/ and you’re golden.

Redire: Get Back Old Lock Screen Camera Button For iOS 5.1 [Jailbreak Tweak]

This is lesser than the expected and rumored price of $799 full retail.

The android based 7-inch tablet device was unveiled in September at the IFA, Germany and its coming in with the latest android operating system version 2.2 i.e. Froyo. There were rumors about the 10-inch version of the tab too, but only the 7-inch model is coming out on November 14th through Sprint, as the other carriers have not announced any launches sooner or later. The Galaxy tab comes with the GPS functionality, 2 cameras (front and back), support for flash and the screen has HD-video functionality, with the screen resolution being 1024 x 768 pixels.

The pricing is surely a surprise and a happy news for U.S. subscribers as the pricing in UK had been rumored to around $1000, and the actual market price would be out when the competitor carriers AT&T, Verizon and T-mobile comment on it.

Apple Macbook Air pricing in India

The new Macbook Air had just launched all around, with a better processing power and a storage format that actually takes up less place but still doubles the speed of the notebook. The $35 Tablet Named Aakash, not Sakshat – Features, Specifications

The Indian govt. finally launches the new tablet device, claimed to be the cheapest tablet in the world, named Aakash, which actually was called the HCL Sakshat earlier. It would be available to the college goers as of now, and the prime interest would be on the Engineering students. It is expected with a price tag of $35 but a few sources claim that it would be coming at around $50, which is the cost at which the govt. is ordering the devices in bulk. It aims to link 25,000 colleges and 400 universities through e-learning programme. IBN claims that the tablet would be available in November with a price tag of Rs. 3000, which is still half of the cheapest tablet around with similar configurations. The tablet is being purchased from a company called DataWind in the U.K.

Soon, a 35 dollar computer will be made available to every child in school. The tablet shall help enhance the quality of learning of children…This is not just a dream, it is a reality.”

The Aakash tablet would be coming in around the month of November and the govt. has made the deal for a limited number of devices initially. The actual details about the tablet and its availability would be updated only when the tablet starts shipping out.

Connectivity enabled in it would be the 4G LTE network connectivity and apart from all this, Samsung has included a 2050mAh battery which would certainly increase the battery life of the phone to a higher level.
This would definitely be one of the best iPhone killers right now, as the real upgraded version of iPhone is not yet launched and the Nexus Prime has everything better than the former.

The Samsung Galaxy S III

The next big beast would beat the earlier versions of Galaxy S, then why won’t it beat the iPhone? The phone is rumored to come with a larger screen, i.e. the 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen, a little smaller than the current Galaxy Note. The screen resolution is said to be 1280 x 720 pixels with a gorilla glass display. It is said to come with 12-Megapixel camera capturing pictures with a resolution of 4000×3000 pixels. It comes with options like AutoFocus, Light-Emitting Diode (LED) etc. and the front camera would be a good 2-Megapixel one for the video conferencing.
According to the sources, the S III would be powered by 1.8GHz dual-core processor and Samsung Exynos 4212 chipset. With the Android OS, the support for many apps, flash is always there and there would be the inclusion of Near Field Communication too in the Galaxy S III. The phone is expected to be into the market in the 3rd quarter of 2012, and this might be the same time when Apple launches the next version of the iPhone.

HTC Rezound

The Rezound is another device with a name confusion, where it was earlier called the HTC Vigor but the Rezound is the better pronounced and recognized one, although in the rumors. There is nothing talked about the launch, but its expected to be out into the market in the next few months. The device is rumored to have a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 1280×720 pixels screen resolution, and the HTC Sense v3.5 User Interface, HTC being one of the best interface designers for the Android phones. Verizon is the last of the major U.S. carriers to add a device upgrade fee, a secondary revenue stream carriers justify by citing costs associated with setting up new devices and updating account information. Updated MacBook Pro to See Significant Performance Boost with Ivy Bridge

Amid swirling rumors of an imminent update for the 15-inch MacBook Pro driven by a claimed April 29 launch date for Intel's quad-core mobile Ivy Bridge processors, CPU World reports that benchmarking of one of the chips likely to appear in the new MacBook Pro shows fairly significant improvements in performance, particularly in graphics.

The chip being tested was the Core i7-3820QM, a 2.7 GHz processor with turbo speeds up to 3.7 GHz paired with Intel HD 4000 graphics. The chip is scheduled to debut with a price of $568 in high volume, and seems to be the natural successor to the Sandy Bridge Core i7-2860QM that is the current high-end processor for the 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro, available as a build-to-order option.


For benchmarking comparisons, the new Ivy Bridge Core i7-3820QM chip was pitted against a Sandy Bridge Core i7-2960XM, which is an even higher-performance "Extreme" chip than is available in the current MacBook Pro. Consequently, any performance increase between the current high-end MacBook Pro chip and this new Ivy Bridge chip would be even greater than outlined in the benchmarking comparison.

Overall, the 3820QM was found to score an average of 9% higher than the Extreme 2960XM chip, a modest improvement but one which should be significantly higher relative to the 2860QM chip from the current MacBook Pro. Taking into account a roughly 10% higher performance for the tested 2960XM Sandy Bridge processor compared to the 2860QM actually found in the current MacBook Pro, the new 3820QM Ivy Bridge processor should offer roughly 20% higher CPU performance than is currently available in the MacBook Pro.

Looking at the CPU performance, using a few tests, we can see how the reduced production process helps the performance for a number of standard tests. In 3DMark Vantage (Entry level preset), Ivy Bridge has a 10% performance improvement over Sandy Bridge for the CPU score, and 9% in the physics score. In Cinebench 11.5, the single thread test showed a performance boost of 4%, and the multi-threaded test gave an improvement of 10%. The performance boost in the Truecrypt 7.0a - AES test was 4%. Finally, using x264 HD Benchmark 4.0, test 1 showed a boost of 13%, and test 2 showed a boost of 11%.

Even more significant gains for the Ivy Bridge chip show up in graphics performance, where the Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics supplants the HD 3000 graphics found in the Sandy Bridge chips. According to the benchmarks, the new HD 4000 integrated graphics outperforms the current graphics by anywhere from 32% to 108% depending on the test.

Apple of course also includes a dedicated graphics chip in its larger MacBook Pro models, giving users the option of higher performance with the dedicated chip or increased battery life with the integrated graphics. And given that the HD 4000 integrated graphics does not yet approach the performance of dedicated chips, those looking for maximum performance will still want to take advantage of whichever dedicated graphics option Apple includes in updated MacBook Pro models.

But significant improvements to integrated graphics performance could show up as a benefit in a number of areas, including providing users with better performance even when opting for the battery-conserving graphics settings. Apple has also reportedly been considering using integrated graphics only in some of its mid-range MacBook Pro models, with the HD 4000 chip making it feasible for the company to drop the dedicated graphics chip on some of those models while still being able to offer acceptable graphics performance.

Finally, the HD 4000 graphics will offer a marked improvement for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which is expected to debut in June when Intel rolls out its dual-core Ivy Bridge processors. The smaller 13-inch form factor requires that those models rely solely on integrated graphics, meaning that all users would see a significant boost from the current HD 3000 graphics to the new HD 4000 graphics.
