Well well well, it seems like we’ll never get enough with the iOS 5 flaws this month, another iOS 5 security flaw has been found allows anyone to access your camera roll and that makes the passcode lock feature useless because anyone could access your camera roll without entering the four digits passcode.
CultofMac reported that iPatch which is a leading iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch repair specialist in the United Kingdom has discovered that security flaw on an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1. You can access the camera roll by doing a simple trick; the trick requires access to the iPhone’s Battery, which is not a difficult task on the iPhone 4, unlike newer models it doesn’t have pentlobe screws to held it together, you simply take out the two screws at the bottom of the device and slide off the rear cover.
After removing the battery for seconds turn the phone back on again and you’ll get access to photographs on the device without asking for passcode. Double click the home button to get to the camera then hit the camera icon and switch to the front facing camera then tap the Camera Roll icon and you will be able to see the photos there.
